13th April 40s/50s Swing Night, Halstead

Halstead Parish Council have asked us along to provide music for dancing on Sunday 13th April at Queens Hall, Chipping Hill, Halstead from 7.30pm.
We’re polishing up our swing and 1950s numbers, including this 1958 ditty from the Maguire Sisters which we reckon is the sugariest tune ever!

Christmas 2013

Sudbury Christmas Tree Festival 2013: Weds 4th December. 5.30-6.30pm St Peters Church Sudbury Christmas Tree Festival.

We’re following on from Sudbury Recorder Consort with a short selection of cheesy Christmas hits whilst the Christmas trees sparkle with lights all around us – and its all for local good causes.2012 Tree Fest animation

2013 gig list

Summer has arrived, (sort of) and we’re celebrating it, beginning on 8th June with:

  1. 8th June: Flower Power! Flower Festival Concert, St Andrews Church , Great Cornard, Sudbury CO10 OEL  7.30pm. Tickets £6 from Compact Music, Sudbury or on the door. St Andrews Flowers June 13 final
  2. 16th June: Guest spot at Sudbury Choral Society’s Look of Love concert, a celebration of the music of Burt Bacharach, 3.30pm at St Peter’s Church Sudbury.  Tickets £8 include strawberry tea, available as above.
  3. 22nd June: Concert for Great Cornard Christian Fellowship, Broom St, CO10 OJT, 7.30pm. Available as above.
  4. 5th July: Bridge Project Supper and Music fundraiser, Masonic Hall Sudbury. Tickets from the Bridge Project, 01787 313691, email Info@thebridgeproject.co.uk
  5. 14th July: Long Melford Street Fair – see us in all our finery from 5-7pm
