Why we love singing

We (hopefully) helped to raise a shedload of cash last week for St Nicholas Hospice, and along the way had a fab time, see pics below:

Ain’t no mountain(s in Suffolk) high enough

Tammi and Marvin, Diana Ross….what a great song. We’re doing a combo of the two versions on 20th Feb in Bildeston for the St Nicholas Hospice fundraiser, tickets £12.50, email lavenham@outlook.com

Lovely tunes for a lovely cause

tickets are still available for the St Nicholas Hospice fundraiser, 20th Feb at that fulcrum of entertainment, Chamberlin Hall Bildeston.

We’ve got the full band coming and a line up of love-themed songs. Entertainment also includes sketches from local thesps, and a pay bar to keep you topped up.

 The £12.50 ticket gets you all this and a finger buffet. E: lavenham@outlook.com T: 01787 248304

We’ll be wearing little black dresses rather than our D themed outfits below…

Christmas Tree Festival 2018

Our next outing is on Thursday 6th December at 4.30pm for Sudbury’s Christmas Tree Festival in St Peter’s, Market Hill CO10 2EH. Might as well join in the early seasonal promotional bandwagon!

Our latest gig

We successfully premiered ‘Happy’ the other weekend, and felt pretty chuffed at getting everyone on the dance floor:

Happy!

A new repertoire item, Pharrell’s sublime ‘Happy’ from Despicable Me 2. It’ll be ready for this Saturday’s private party…happy, happy, happy, happy!

Material Girls

We’re polishing up our version of Madonna’s  Material Girl ready for a private birthday party next month – a hint, it’s one of our band and he’s going to be Fifty!

We’re looking for some new dresses as our original ones are looking a bit tatty after all these gigs.  Madge could carry this off in her 1980s heyday, we don’t want to show her up, so will stick to something a little more understated….
